Now home to the local Community Association (SCA), Ceddesfeld Hall was built in the mid 1700s as a home to the Rector of the local church. Bought from the Church Commissioners in the early 1970s by the Town Council it was leased to the SCA who refurbished and redecorated it into a central meeting place for the various groups and leisure activities then being formed by the influx of young families into the village.
It is the home of the village's annual events; the family Easter Extravaganza, the Mediaeval Fayre in May, the Beer Festival in early July, the Family Day in August and the Fireworks Display in November and the Snow Parade in December. And many of our members are involved in the organisation and management of many of these events.
