David visited us in September, 2025, just before the 250th Anniversary of the first Stockton to Darlington Railway journey, and gave the most interesting talk about the early life of George Stephenson. This visit will continue the story and his and his families involvement in the wider installation of railways across the UK and onto the rest of the world.
